Terms of Service

FaceMeIn ("the Service") lets you place your face into stylized template images and short stylized videos. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Your uploads

• You may only upload photos of your own face, or faces of people who have given you their explicit permission.
• Do not upload photos of minors.
• Do not upload sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise unlawful content.
• Do not use the Service to impersonate anyone, to deceive, defame, or harass, or to create content presented as a real photograph of a real person or event.

3. Results

Generated images and videos are stylized, fictional composites for personal entertainment. Results are licensed for personal use; an active Ultra subscription additionally licenses commercial use of your own results. You are responsible for how you use and share them. Free-tier results carry a FaceMeIn.com watermark; removing or cropping the watermark while on a free plan is not permitted.

4. Accounts

Login is by email link; keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans, credits and refunds

• Paid plans and credit packs are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• One-time credit packs do not expire. Video credits are consumed when a render starts: 1 credit creates a new video and 1 credit extends an existing one by about 5 seconds. Credits consumed on completed renders are not refundable.
• Free promotion: each new account receives one free video credit (results watermarked). One per person; we may withdraw or change this promotion at any time.
• Refunds: within 14 days of purchase we will refund any credits or subscription period that is entirely unused, on request to the contact address below.

6. Content removal

We may refuse to process, or remove, any upload or result at our discretion, including anything we believe violates these terms or applicable law.

7. Service "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
